I’m investigating the Netapp side of things (which as of May 2012 still doesn’t support VAAI for NFS) and this was useful info. By the way you can query NFS VAAI support using the following command line;

The ESXCLI command is only made available after the vCloud Director agent is installed, so the only way to enable nested 64bit support is to use vhv.allow entry. BTW – This article will just get you nesting … but you won’t get functional network without some additional steps which have been laid out in the vSEL post.
